To check your course completion status, log into your course library at courses.bearsafety.com. You will see whether your course needs to be resumed.

Upon completing 100% of your course, your certification will be sent to your email. Please note that security filters may block our emails. If you have not received your certification within 24 hours of completion, please contact us at [email protected].

The process for creating a low-definition video may vary depending on your device model. We recommend conducting a quick Google search specific to your phone model for guidance. In general, aim to keep your video length to 2-3 seconds, and use lower resolution and frame rates for optimal results.

To earn your certificate, simply complete all modules and lessons within the course.

Never skip or fast-forward your lessons, otherwise they will show up as incomplete, and you'll have to go back and re-do them.

We strongly recommend using inert bear spray for practice. Inert bear spray does not contain red pepper, capsaicin, or capsaicinoids, allowing you to practice firing without risk to yourself or others. Using the appropriate practice spray ensures a safe and effective training experience.

This recertification is designed for clients who have previously completed the Wildlife Awareness Intermediate Level 2 course with bear spray, either through us or an approved vendor, and wish to renew their certification. Please note that a practical bear spray demonstration is not required for this recertification. We recommend checking with your manager or contract for any specific requirements before proceeding.
